Senior Therapist and Clinical Assessor (Maternity Cover)

Brighton Women’s Centre (BWC) is looking to appoint a Senior Therapist and Clinical Assessor to work with clients who are living with complex trauma and to conduct clinical assessments on behalf of the service.

The role will be based in Brighton (primarily though possibly not exclusively) at BWC’s main office and will offer a blend of in-person and online sessions for women accessing, or wishing to access, the service.

The Senior Therapist and Clinical Assessor will work in a women-centred, trauma-informed, and holistic way. She will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients, arranging assessments, liaising with the Therapeutic Services Manager, and working in line with service aims and BWC policies.

Responsible to: Therapeutic Services Manager
Purpose of role: To conduct clinical assessments for women who are referred to our therapy services, and to also deliver short-term, trauma-informed therapy to the women.
Salary Grade:  FTE £30,617
Working hours:  14 hours per week, within normal office hours 9am-5pm. Occasional out of hours may be required.
Work locations: Brighton
Contract Details: Fixed term – 9-month contract
