On Sunday 10th March, 3-5pm, some of Brighton’s best independents are collaborating to host a charity event in aid of Brighton Women’s Centre in celebration of IWD!
In conjunction with Simon Webster Hair, Zola Amour, WiDEYE and more this intimate event will include talks and demos with a focus on ethical fashion and beauty choices.
Simon Webster Hair will be presenting their take on the latest hair trends and home styling. They will also be available to answer any questions you may have on managing your style and colour.
Emily Evans, founder and designer of Zola Amour, will be talking about what ethical fashion means in terms of sourcing materials, creating designs and buying clothes.
Fashion blogger and personal stylist, Carla Webster, will be presenting a talk on wardrobe staples and how we can move away from throw-away fashion, looking at detoxing your wardrobe and the key items you should own.
The WiDEYE team will be providing complimentary hand massages, nail filing and painting with their new ‘Five Free’ polishes, which are made locally and are free of chemicals often used in varnish.
Pop along, grab your free goody bag and enjoy bite-sized cakes, tea and prosecco, plus a fashion stand from Zola Amour! There will also be a fantastic raffle with a chance to win some top haircare gifts from some of the industry’s biggest brands, bespoke jewellery by Lou Taylor, yoga courtesy of Bend Fit Mend and many more fabulous prizes.
Tickets are limited to 30 guests and priced at £15 with profits going to BWC, we will also be on-hand at the event to talk about the work we do to support women around Brighton and the surrounding areas. Hope to see you there!
