Women’s Peer to Peer Support
Join our supportive peer groups to build relationships with other women, and start the journey of building a kinder relationship with yourself.
Bridges to Belonging
The Women’s Peer to Peer Support Service is about group activities in a supportive environment for women wanting to gain confidence and connection with other women through peer support.
One of our groups is themed around the menopause–more details below.
We also provide opportunities for developing new skills and experiences through facilitating groups, mentoring new peers or being involved in the service in a way that you feel comfortable with.
“BWC has been key to my ability to improve my mental health and wellbeing over the last two years. I feel I have grown as a person with their kindness and compassion.
There is no judging - with the encouragement of others in the group and the facilitator I feel heard, valued and have made lifelong connections. I have decreased [the] need to access other services like the NHS, Adult Social Care and am more able to regulate my own emotions, avoiding crisis.Thank you to everyone at BWC for helping me help myself. For trusting me and allowing me to break down my walls and see the goodness in others.”

Women's Menopause Peer Group
This group is for anyone who may be premature menopausal, perimenopausal, menopausal or postmenopausal. It’s a group for women to share their unique – and shared - experiences around the menopause in an open, honest and non-judgemental way.
What we offer:
- a monthly peer group
- a space to share experiences
- a chance to connect with other women
We seek to create a supportive and caring space where you can be yourself and know that you are not alone in this time of your life.
We are not medical professionals, the groups focus is on peer support; an exchange of empathy, equality and empowerment.
