This International Women’s Day in celebration of Women’s History Month and 50 years of BWC, we will be speaking to women whose work can tell us something about how far we’ve come and where we still have to go.

In our first interview we had the pleasure of speaking with long-time advocate for women’s rights, and friend to Brighton Women’s Centre, former leader of the Green Party and until last year, the MP for Brighton Pavilion, Caroline Lucas.

Conversations with Bold Women is a mini-series of reflections from women whose work we admire. Next week, we’ll be talking to Anna Herrmann, Joint CEO of Clean Break an organisation founded in 1979 by two women prisoners who believed in the transformative power of theatre to change lives.
